Popular promoter and bar owner Juliano “Lano Lano” Isaacs has refuted claims that he uses his position of authority at his business in exchange for sexual favours from employees. Isaacs owns and operates the bar Captain Lano’s Bar in Villa.

In a Facebook post made on Thursday April 28, 2022, John John Stephens accused Isaacs of abusing his power of authority to have sex with his workers. The post has been making the rounds on Facebook, having been shared by numerous persons.

In an interview with ANN, Isaacs vehemently stated that he has never propositioned an employee for sexual favours in exchange for their job security. He claims to have done his own investigation into the person behind the post on Facebook and has discovered that the post was made by a relative of an employee he sent home on Tuesday April 26, 2022.

Isaacs says that he sent home the employee because she turned up for work on Monday in a cap with the name of a competitor branded on it. According to Isaacs, the employee refused to remove the hat claiming that her hair was not done properly. On Tuesday when he attempted to address the issue an argument ensued, and the employee was sent home, but she was not dismissed from work.

Isaacs says that he has never fired an employee for sex, and he has never forced himself into a sexual relationship with an employee. He however says that any sexual relations that he had with an employee was consensual. Isaacs said he has already contacted the police and his lawyers and has plans to pursue a case of slander.

ANN reached out to some past and present employees, and they have all said that they do not know of any incident where Isaacs would have passed his place with an employee or sexually harassed any of them. One past employee said that people were just “being mischievous and spreading lies about Lano”.
