    At least two dead in Montrose Shooting incident

    At least two men have succumbed to gunshot wounds after a shooting incident in the West Kingstown community of Montrose.

    Another man, one of the shooters was shot by an ex police officer and is in surgery at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, police say.

    Dead are E’Lon Barbour and Daniel Skerrit.

    Reports are that Barbour and Skerrit were on the public road with other individuals when two masked gunmen emerged and opened fire on them, hitting them several times with gunshots.

    The incident occurred at around 5:40 p.m.

    The incident comes on the same day the nation was shaken by the revalation that the body of a female found dismembered in a bag on the side of the road on May 12 is that of Sion Hill/Walvaroo teen, Precious Williams.

    The police are investigating the matter.
