Another victim of child sexual abuse has reached out to ANN to tell her story.
‘S’ as she has been referred to reached out following a similar story which appeared on ANN a few days ago about a young lady who was forced to endure sexual abuse for over six years.

According to ‘S’, she is now in her 40’s and still is unable to get over the trauma she endured during her childhood.
She said that she was 7 years old when it all started, and she was sexually abused by her stepfather and his uncle.

“Both sexually abused me for years until I finally left home in my early teens,” she said.
‘S’ said that the interactions with both men started off with them playing together,
“Lifting me up, hugs, throwing me in the air and playing catch.”

All this not knowing that the men had other ideas, that was their way of touching her to see if she was uncomfortable or speak out – she explained.

“I was threatened, bribed and at my tender age did not know any better,” ‘S’ told ANN.
For years the abuse went on at the hands of the men, each incident occurring separately and at various locations.

They performed oral sex and sexual intercourse with her, she said.
“The first few years it was oral sex, and then they began rubbing the outside of their penis on my private area,” said the now distraught woman.

And she was given cash or threatened in order that she keep quiet about her ordeal.
During the act, she was made to feel that what was being done to her was nothing wrong.

“At that age, what can I do but think it’s ok, having not known better.”
She was forced to drink salt water after the men had sex with her, she would later find out that it was an old myth for preventing pregnancy.

Years later while in her early 20’s, she said that she was diagnosed with hypertension – something she attributes to the stress she has had to put up with in her youth.

This story is the second such received by ANN in the past few days where former victims of child sexual abuse have spoken about their ordeal.

In that story which was posted on June 8, a young female related her story saying that she was sexually abused by an older cousin from the time she was 11 years old, and that it continued up to her late teens.
