The National Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Associations in the United Kingdom (NCSVGA UK) is pleased to announce the election of its incoming Executive Committee for
2022/23.
At its’ Annual General Meeting on May 1st 2022, the combined representatives of the UK
based St Vincent and Grenadines Associations nominated and elected their National
Executive Committee for the next year.
Incumbent Chair, Ms Deiana Stapleton was re-elected for a second year. She has promised to “continuing building links across the UK and internationally for the Vincentian community so that our citizens and their families are supported whether they are home or abroad”.
The chair thanked the committee for “their continuous work over the past year building the profile of the St Vincent and Grenadines Associations through online and in person events, fundraising and support for vulnerable members of our community as the global pandemic continues.”
Comprising the various member associations in Coventry, Derby & Long Eaton, High
Wycombe (WMCO & SV2G), Luton, Reading and Oxford, the National Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Associations UK was established in 1993, and has been effective in its objective to be the umbrella body for coordinating diaspora activities in conjunction with the High Commission. According to its mission statement, the National Council endeavors “to inspire continuing togetherness and culture.”
