The Graduation Ceremony for Kingstown Technical Institute (KTI) for students of academic years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 took place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the New Testament Church, Wilson Hill. This year, there were two graduating classes as the
La Soufriere Volcanic eruptions prevented a graduation ceremony from taking place in 2021.

The Mustique Charitable Foundation (MCF)is pleased to announce that they were able to fund lunches under a grant program with Kingstown Technical Institute where the Foundation provided partial scholarship support that helped make attendance possible for students selected by KTI as most in need. MCF offered twenty (20) partial scholarships across four programs in
2020-2021 and in 2021-2022, given the greater need, the number was increased to twenty-four (24) also across four programs. The four programs included Plumbing, Electrical Installation, Food Preparation & Cookery/Pastry Making and General Office Administration/Data Operations.
MCF President, Nancy Young, though unable to attend the event in person, sent her regards and expressed that the foundation was pleased to see such deserving and hardworking students complete their education and wishes them all the very best.
During her brief address at the event, Natalia Gill (MCF Project Director) reminded the
graduates that “though there were times when they may have felt like giving up, rest assured that being able to push through at such a difficult time is what makes for great and successful leaders”. She also reminded them about the importance of having skill-based personnel across
the various areas of business and encouraged the students to not wait around, but to create
opportunities for themselves with the skills learnt.

MCF is a charitable organization dedicated to helping Vincentians who are in need. MCF
provides partial scholarships across all four Technical Institutes in St. Vincent and the
Grenadines. BarTech, Campden Park, Georgetown, and Kingstown, as well as the SVGCC-Division of Technical and Vocational Education and Division of Teacher Education. MCF also funds book distribution, literary programs, and specialist pediatric healthcare.
