After taking their exam at the beginning of December it was time to present the eager karate students with their New Belts and official ISKF (International Shotokan Karate Federation) Certificates
Last Sunday the 11th December, this time the venue was at the Bequia dojo in Port Elizabeth
Instructor Sensei Gibson, talked at length about the essence of Karate teaching.
He urges his students to adhere to the ethics keeping with the traditional Art of Karate in everyday life.
Doing so will enable them to become well balanced people.
Karate is not only about kicking and punching but also about self discipline, respect and perseverance
The Bequia and St Vincent Kiai Karate Schools were happy to welcome Linda Sagan Harrier who attended on behalf of The Grenadines Initiative. Their support and sponsorship are invaluable and greatly appreciated.
The schools extend their gratitude to the other sponsors unable to partake
Thank you also to the parents who came to encourage their children.
Linda proceeded to give out the certificates and new belts.
It was great to see the students happy with their accomplishment
The Kiai Karate Schools now has two new black belts Aaron Clarke from Georgetown and Elena Glynn from Bequia
We welcome all new recruits from 5 years and upwards
