The atmosphere was electrifying and filled with a buzz of excitement as the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) Annual Christmas Caroling Contest climaxed on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at Central Police Station. Nine (9) senior choirs and ten (10) junior choirs participated in the coveted event..

Remarks were delivered by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Colin John, Coordinator of the Police Christmas Caroling Committee, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mr. Junior Simmons, and Director of the Police Cooperative Credit Union, Mrs. Kathleen Nanton Davis.

Having won the two previous editions of the competition in 2019 and 2020, the Traffic Angels were relegated to the second position by Western Carolers who were adjudged to be the winners on the night. It was a clean sweep for Western Carolers as they were also declared the winners in the Best Speech, Best Traditional, and Best Original songs categories. The Crime Busters placed third in a keenly contested competition.
The Callaqua Police Youth Club was also dethroned by the Layou Police Club in the Junior category. The second and third positions were captured by the Chateaubelair/Rose Hall and Spring Village Police Youth Clubs respectively.
The winners received trophies, cash, and other prizes for their sterling efforts. Each participating group that did not place in the top three positions also received a consolation prize.
The major sponsors of the event were Kingstown Cooperative Credit Union (KCCU), Police Cooperative Credit Union (PCCU), National Lotteries Authority (NLA), and Standard Caribbean Shipping Inc. Other sponsors were Global Distributors, Sports Locka Plus, Faceys Trading, Eastern Caribbean Group of Companies Limited (ECGC), Massy Stores, Jax Enterprises, Flow, and Allan Smith and Family Bakery.
