The Simply Help Foundation (Taiwan) donated a 40ft container stacked with clothing, books, and other supplies to the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on Wednesday March 8, 2023.

Delivering remarks at a short handing over ceremony on Wednesday at the Campden Park Community Centre, Taiwan’s Ambassador to SVG, His Excellency, Peter Sha Li-Lan expressed delight that the Taiwan branch of the non-profit organisation was able to ship supplies to SVG.

Minister of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Family, Gender Affairs, Youth, Housing and Informal Human Settlement, Hon. Orando Brewster received the donation on behalf of the Government. The minister thanked the Simply Help Foundation and the Republic of China (Taiwan) for their generosity and willingness to provide support to the people of SVG.

Brewster added that the donation was facilitated through the Ministry of National Mobilisation. He further announced that a 20ft container of additional supplies is expected to arrive soon. Minister Brewster said that the non-profit organisation has assisted SVG in the past, and the 40ft container of supplies will go a long way to improve lives and livelihoods in SVG.

The Simply Help foundation was founded by Tina Bow in 2000 and has establishments in 30 countries.
