Investigations into the deaths of 17-year-old Precious Ziggy-Ann Zafhti Williams and
Veronic ‘Keisha’ Small said to be in her early 40’s are still ongoing.
Both women were killed in 2022; the partially decomposed body of Williams was discovered
in a bag in May 2022, and the lifeless body of Small was discovered on the compound of the
decommissioned E.T Joshua airport with a piece of PVC pipe said to be inserted in her body
    back in August 2022.
Assistant Commissioner of Police in Charge of Crime, Trevor Bailey said on Monday that the
investigations into both homicides were ongoing.
“And work is being done every day,” he said.
According to the Bailey, since assuming the position of ACP in Charge of Crime he has sat
down with investigators, who are also members of the Major Crime Unit, and who were
heading the investigations into these two crimes.
He said that they had conducted a review of the statements and that he had ordered for the
investigation to be conducted along certain lines.
“And those investigations are very much ongoing,” ACP Bailey said.
This prompted him to urge the public to believe in the investigators saying that they have
proven that they are capable of doing in depth and technical investigations and that those two
homicides remained high on their agenda and were very much alive and the police were
    working.
