The supplies which were donated on Friday, December 29, include polyethylene gowns, gloves, ambu bags, surgical masks, endotracheal tube, water resistance band aid, compression bandages and crutches, among other medical items.

Deputy Hospital Administrator at the Georgetown Modern Medical and Diagnostic Centre, Idinger Miller- Walker expressed gratitude to the St. Matthias Charity Inc for the donation. She lamented that they are still encountering difficulties in sourcing some well needed medical supplies as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. Miller-Walker noted that St. Matthias Charity Inc. has been consistent in providing the hospital with these much-needed supplies, and for that they are grateful.

President of the St. Matthias Charity Inc. Pastor Robert McBarnette said he is pleased to donate the supplies to the hospital. He noted that as someone who grew up in Dickson Village, giving back to the Georgetown community is something he always wanted to do. Matthias expressed gratitude to the donors in New York who made it possible for him to donate the items to the facility.
