Camillo Gonsalves said during the presentation of the 2024 Budget address last evening that many vendors and other entrepreneurs who operate in Kingstown already pay a small rent to the Kingstown Town Board (KTB).
This fee, according to the finance minister is for the maintenance of order and cleanliness in the city.
“Last year, the Town Board successfully embarked in a ‘Kingstown Clean-up’ campaign that nationalized vending activity to the benefit of buyers and sellers alike,” Gonsalves said.

This review, according to the finance minister was almost complete and therefore, an announcement would be made in March outlining some relief for vendor
