The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in collaboration with the High Commission of Canada in Barbados have officially announced the start of Canada Fund for Local Initiatives Programme.
Community based organisations, non-profits, and grassroots initiatives in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be provided with access to financial grants and technical assistance through the Canada Fund’s local initiatives programme.
According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Canada Fund, through this programme, is aiming to foster innovation, healthcare, environmental conservation and economic empowerment.
The foreign ministry says that anyone interested in participating in the program can contact the office via email at [email protected]. The deadline for applications is May 3rd 2024.
The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) program operates in over one hundred developing countries around the world.
