Three men from Grenada have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking offenses. Romario McDonald, a 79-year-old fisherman, Raheem Rougier, a 19-year-old laborer, and Vincent Edwards, a 43-year-old fisherman from Grenada/Petit Bordel, are accused of possessing 13,620 grams of cannabis to supply it to another person and for trafficking.
The men were apprehended on May 9, 2024, in Petit Bordel and presented before the Serious Offence Court on May 13, 2024. Edwards pleaded guilty to both charges, while McDonald and Rougier pleaded not guilty. All three men have been remanded in custody.
The case has been adjourned to May 14, 2024, for review and sentencing.
