    SVGCC to Celebrate 691 Graduates at 15th Annual Amalgamated Graduation Ceremony

    The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) is set to host its 15th Annual Amalgamated Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. This year’s event will celebrate the achievements of 691 students who have completed their programmes at the College.Graduates will hail from four divisions:Division of Nursing Education: 23 graduandsDivision of Teacher Education: 60 graduandsDivision of Technical and Vocational Education: 247 graduandsDivision of Arts, Sciences and General Studies: 361 graduandsThe ceremony will be held under the theme “Class of 2024: Create Your Legacy”, a nod to the spirit of innovation and leadership that SVGCC aims to foster in its students.A highlight of the event will be the keynote address by Dr. Halimah DeShong, a distinguished Vincentian and Senior Lecturer, as well as the Head of the Institute for Gender and Development Studies: Nita Barrow Unit at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.To accommodate family, friends, and well-wishers, the Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live on the College’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Viewers can tune in on Facebook at St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College or visit SVGCC’s Facebook page. The event will also be available on YouTube via the SVGCC Channel at SVGCC YouTube.
