
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) is set to host its 15th Annual Amalgamated Graduation Ceremony on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. This year’s event will celebrate the achievements of 691 students who have completed their programmes at the College.Graduates will hail from four divisions:Division of Nursing Education: 23 graduandsDivision of Teacher Education: 60 graduandsDivision of Technical and Vocational Education: 247 graduandsDivision of Arts, Sciences and General Studies: 361 graduandsThe ceremony will be held under the theme “Class of 2024: Create Your Legacy”, a nod to the spirit of innovation and leadership that SVGCC aims to foster in its students.A highlight of the event will be the keynote address by Dr. Halimah DeShong, a distinguished Vincentian and Senior Lecturer, as well as the Head of the Institute for Gender and Development Studies: Nita Barrow Unit at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.To accommodate family, friends, and well-wishers, the Graduation Ceremony will be streamed live on the College’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
