Hennessey Starlift Steel Orchestra, renowned for their consistent excellence, clinched their third consecutive victory with a commanding performance of Touch’s ‘Puss man’, meticulously arranged by Trinidadian maestro Dante Pantin. The judges’ tabulation awarded Starlift an impressive 255 points, securing their place at the pinnacle once again.
Their arch rivals, Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra, delivered a formidable rendition of Becket’s ‘Oh La La’, arranged by Trinidadian virtuoso Terrance “BJ” Marcelle. Despite a stellar performance, Sion Hill fell just short with 251 points, reaffirming the fierce rivalry between the two top contenders.
Symphonix Steel Orchestra claimed the third spot with a vibrant presentation of ‘Pan Jam’ by X- A- Dus, earning them a respectable 223 points. Meanwhile, Elite Steel Orchestra showcased their talent with BECKET’s ‘Don’t eat and lie down’, securing fourth place with 185 points.
