In one recording, the supervisor directly tells workers, who were compliaing about not working because of money owed from the World cup
“Girl way you don’t stay out people chat. Stay out d people chat. Yo am Sabrisha. Stay out people chat yo um calling me work and paying. “You get pay for carnival yet? Nobody get pay for carnival yet. Heres a opportunity to add to yo money or leave it way it dey yo coming with yo stupidness. bout alyo nah paying money. Anybody get pay? Company ain even get pay invoice aint even send out yet. Yo talking bout thing. And me vex anuh. That’s why I say this is not cricket anuh. Come with yo negative thing.”
The supervisor further emphasizes:

Lastly, he advises:
“If you want to see money everyday get a shop so when yo sell yo would see money otherwise than that you have to wait on payment you doh no that? When you work with somebody u have to wait you have to. Other than that be self employed. Okay? Thank you very much.” The supervisor’s name was never mentioned.
In a follow-up recording, Mr. Brown who appears to be the CEO of the firm addresss the workers, explaining:
“Good night all this is Mr. Brown here I know all of you are angry cause u haven’t been paid as yet. But please, is that that anyone doesn’t want to pay y’all moneys they are awaiting the payment the security company are awaiting the payment from Cricket West Indies. A lot of moneys has to be paid out and you all have to realize that please wait yo don’t need to send these messages. These derogatory messages.”
He reassures:
“There are other countries that hosted cricket over 1000 providers have to be paid I am making an effort to get Cricket West Indies to pay the security firms and the security firms are pressuring me just like how you are pressuring the security companies please urm the way you all are getting on, show some respect and so on nah man there’s no need for that no one is stealing you all money or theif you all money you all would be paid none of the security company has received money as yet. It’s a problem, not that Cricket West Indies doesn’t want to pay.”
He concludes:
Arm the last thing I heard is that the moneys the invoices were received and payment would be made soonest. I don’t know what is soonest because they not giving you an exact date. So don’t thing them. All the best bye bye. You all have a goodnight bye bye.”
