    Building and Loan Association Empowers Future Leaders with Scholarships

    The St. Vincent Building and Loan Association recently honored two new scholarship recipients, Tariq Jvonte John and Asa Jeriah Bowens, who will be joining Boys Grammar School this September. John, who ranked ninth for boys and 13th overall, and Bowens, who placed 13th for boys and 20th overall, are among the latest to benefit from the Association’s commitment to education.

    In addition, fourteen other students, including Chace Forde, Zoran Shallow, and Natalya Johnson, received bursaries.

    The ceremony, featuring inspiring speeches from Mayferne Mayers-Oliver, Gary Matthias, Adiah Holder, Dr. Tamira Browne, and Kenneth Onu, highlighted themes of self-belief, nurturing potential, and making the most of opportunities.
