The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force has arrested and charged two minors—a male and a female—with the murder of 13-year-old Matthew Dasouza. The young victim, a student from Fair Hall, was found dead at Sion Hill Bay on September 30, 2024.
A post-mortem examination conducted on October 2 confirmed that he died from drowning, which was a consequence of blunt trauma to the head.
Authorities are actively pursuing all investigative leads in this case and are urging anyone with information to come forward. “Your cooperation is crucial in bringing the perpetrators to justice and ensuring the safety of our nation’s citizens, residents, and visitors,” the police statement emphasized.
