    “Primary Schools Netball Tournament Heats Up with Dominant Wins and Fierce Battles Across Courts”

    The primary schools’ netball season continued with thrilling matches across various hard courts on Monday, October 21st, 2024, as young athletes showcased their talent and determination. The day saw fierce competition and exciting results across the island.

    At the Glenside Hard Court, Cane End Government School secured a solid victory over Stubbs Government, winning 10-3. Meanwhile, the contest between Diamonds Government and Lowmans Windward Anglican ended in a 3-3 draw, with both teams demonstrating resilience. The final match of the day on this court saw a dominant performance from Richland Park Government, who overwhelmed Grieggs Government with an impressive 18-3 win.

    Over at the Chilli Hard Court, Langley Park Government claimed a hard-fought 6-3 victory against Fancy Government. In another intense battle, Sandy Bay Government edged out Georgetown Government 8-6. The standout performance of the day came from Owia Government, who outplayed Park Hill Government with a commanding 16-5 win.

    Meanwhile, the Layou Hard Court featured some dramatic matches. Barrouallie Government put on a strong showing, defeating Rose Hall Government 10-0. Fitzhughes Government displayed their dominance with a convincing 17-1 win over Layou Government. The third game was decided by default, with Clare Valley Government taking the win after Dubois Government failed to field a team.

    The action-packed day continued at the Kingstown Netball Center, where Sion Hill Government overwhelmed Lowmans Leeward Anglican 28-4, delivering a superb team performance. Kingstown Anglican, on the other hand, won their match by default after Kingstown Government was unable to participate.
