On November 6, 2024, police arrested and charged Zimron Bailey, a 22-year-old Labourer of Edinboro, with the offence of Damage to Property.
According to the investigation, the accused without lawful excuse damaged, one (1) White Aeropostale Polo Shirt valued at $150.00 ECC and One (1) 24K Gold Chain valued at $2,000.00 ECC, total value $2,150.00 ECC, the property of a 22-year-old Pump Manager of Kingstown Hill, by grabbing his shirt causing it to rip and his chain to burst. He was further charged with having in his possession a cutlass, an offensive weapon in a public place.
The offences were committed on June 25, 2024, at Lower Middle Street, Kingstown.
Bailey appeared before the Serious Offences Court on November 7, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to the charges. The conditions of his station bail were upheld and he was ordered not to have any contact with the complainant. The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate Court for November 11, 2024.
