    Mechanic charged with Handling Stolen Property

    On November 27, 2024, police arrested and charged Ifee Lewis, a 31-year-old Mechanic of Mckies Hill, with the offence of Handling Stolen Property.
    According to investigations, the accused knew or believed that one (1) green and yellow concrete mixer was stolen goods and dishonestly received it for his own benefit.
    The offence was committed in Mckies Hill on November 26, 2024.
    Lewis appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on November 28, 2024, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of $2,500.00 ECC with one (1) surety. He is to report to the Central Police Station every Wednesday, between 6 :00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and the trial date was set for March 2, 2025.
