The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) is investigating the fatal shooting of Ronald Millington, a 40-year-old self-employed resident of Murray’s Village, who was gunned down on the night of December 6, 2024.

Police officers responded swiftly to reports of gunfire in the area and discovered Millington at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The District Medical Officer (DMO) pronounced him dead on the spot, and the body was removed following authorization by the Magistrate.

Investigators have recovered several spent shells and other evidence from the scene, which they believe will be critical to solving the case. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to confirm the exact cause of death.

The RSVGPF has issued a public appeal for information that could assist in their investigation. “Your cooperation is vital in ensuring justice in this matter and maintaining the safety and security of our nation,” said a spokesperson for the police.
