Kingstown, January 2, 2025 – The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has launched an investigation into the death of Albert Lorenzo Lewis, a 63-year-old farmer and welder from Hopewell, whose lifeless body was discovered on the porch of his home early this morning.
According to preliminary reports, a neighbor made the grim discovery and immediately alerted law enforcement. Responding officers found Lewis with a wound to the right side of his face and additional abrasions on his body.
The District Medical Officer pronounced Lewis dead at the scene. The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) recovered several items of interest, including a spent shell, as part of their ongoing investigation. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the official cause of death.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward, stressing that all tips will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
The RSVGPF has extended its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
