This holiday season, St. Vincent Brewery Limited (SVBL) brought stories to life with their “Tell Us Your Story” initiative, turning tales of resilience and hardship into opportunities to spread cheer and goodwill. The initiative, a staple of SVBL’s holiday efforts, provided care packages filled with essential supplies, food items, and toiletries to families and institutions across the country.
With the support of key partners, including the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC), Facey Trading, and Select Pasta, this year’s outreach exceeded expectations. The brewery also extended its generosity to institutions like the Liberty Lodge Home for Boys and St. Benedict’s Children’s Home, ensuring even more vulnerable members of the community felt the warmth of the season.
In a press release, SVBL’s Country Manager Shafia London expressed the company’s dedication to making a difference:
“Through our ‘Tell Us Your Story’ campaign, we hope this care package brings not just essentials but also a sense of hope, love, and encouragement. May it remind you that you are not alone and that your story matters.”
Plant Manager Colin Huskinson echoed these sentiments, calling for unity and compassion during the holiday season.
“As we reflect on the season of joy and light, let us share our blessings and love others as we love ourselves. Together, we can create peace in the world,” Huskinson remarked.
Last year, the initiative distributed over 75 care packages. This year, thanks to the contributions of donors and partners like Diamond Grocery Inc., Randy’s Supermarket, and Tus-T Water, SVBL surpassed this milestone, further cementing its role as a beacon of hope in the community.
SVBL highlighted its gratitude to all who contributed, stating that the campaign underscores the true essence of the holidays: opening hearts to make a difference.
As the brewery continues to foster compassion through initiatives like “Tell Us Your Story,” it remains clear that SVBL’s commitment to uplifting the community is as strong as ever.
