    Multiple Arrests Made Across SVG: Assault, Property Damage, and Theft Cases Highlighted

    Victoria Village Bus Conductor Charged with Assault
    Azim Alexander, 22, a bus conductor from Victoria Village, has been charged with assault after allegedly beating Frankisha Audain, 31, with a piece of board, causing actual bodily harm. The incident occurred on December 17, 2024, in Victoria Village. Alexander is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court.

    Fitz Hughes Farmer Faces Assault Charges
    Aubery Walters, 51, of Fitz Hughes, has been charged with assaulting fellow farmer Anthony Harry, 43, by striking him with stones on December 2, 2024, in Chateaubelair. Walters was granted $1,500.00 ECC station bail and is scheduled to appear at the Chateaubelair Magistrate Court on January 15, 2025.

    Colonarie Resident Accused of Property Damage
    Denika Samuels, 27, an unemployed resident of Colonarie, has been charged with damaging property belonging to Deno Walker, 45. The incident, which occurred between January 1 and 2, 2025, involved the destruction of items worth $1,550.00 ECC, including a speaker, sliding window, and standing fan. Samuels will appear at the Kingstown Magistrate Court.

    Mechanic Charged with Grievous Bodily Harm in Park Hill
    Deno Walker, 45, of Colonarie, is facing a charge of grievous bodily harm for allegedly striking Denika Samuels in the face and mouth on January 1, 2025. The case was initially heard at the Georgetown Magistrate Court, where Walker pleaded not guilty. The matter has been transferred to the Colonarie Magistrate Court for February 13, 2025.

    Arnos Vale Labourer Remanded for Damage and Attempted Theft
    Ronell Mathurin, 39, of Arnos Vale, is accused of damaging the rear glass of a vehicle and attempting to steal its contents on January 2, 2025, in Kingstown. The damaged property, owned by Brian Deane, 49, is valued at $350.00 ECC. Mathurin pleaded not guilty and has been remanded in custody until January 13, 2025.

    The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force reminds citizens that all accused persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
