Williams, who swims in the boys 11-12 age category, medaled in all but one of his eight races. He won a total of 5 silver medals (50m back, 50m breast, 200m breast, 100m breast and 50m freestyle) and 2 bronze medals (100m Backstroke and 50m butterfly). He also swam a number of personal best times.
St. Hilaire captured a silver medal in the 50m butterfly in the girls 13-14 age group.
Vincentian swimmers usually take the opportunity to participate in the BASA Long Course Nationals to attain CARIFTA Swimming qualifying times, as well as to get the 50 Metre pool swimming experience as the pool at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre is a 25 metre one. CARIFTA Swimming will be taking place during the Easter weekend at the National Aquatic Centre in Couva Trinidad and Tobago which is a 50 Metre pool.
