Kingstown, March 5, 2025 – Law enforcement officials have made several arrests in recent days, with cases ranging from theft and criminal trespass to assault.
In Greiggs, police charged Nea Prince, 23, with theft after she allegedly stole $107.00 ECC from the shop of Priscilla Maloney, 58, on March 3. Prince is set to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court.
Meanwhile, in Chateaubelair, Kasonai Wilson, 41, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal trespass after allegedly entering the property of Valerie Bramble, 49, on February 26 and 27, causing annoyance. Wilson appeared in court on March 3 and was sent to the Mental Health Center for a two-week assessment. His case has been adjourned until March 14.
A 16-year-old student from Brighton also faces legal trouble after being charged with multiple counts of theft. Police say the minor stole four bottles of Hennessy valued at $682 ECC on February 6, as well as $1,051.87 worth of items from Massy Supermarket in Arnos Vale on February 24. The teenager pleaded guilty in court on March 3 and was remanded in custody until March 6 for sentencing.
In a separate incident, Kishan Glasgow, 36, a carpenter from Greiggs, was charged with assault causing bodily harm after allegedly attacking Brian Grant, 51, with a crowbar on November 12, 2024, in Ashton, Union Island. Glasgow is expected to appear before the Union Island Magistrate Court to answer the charge.
Authorities continue to urge citizens to report criminal activities as they work to maintain law and order across the nation.
