Kingstown, March 6, 2025 – The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has announced a series of promotions aimed at bolstering leadership within its ranks. The promotions, approved by the Police Service Commission and effective February 26, 2025, elevate ten officers to higher positions, reinforcing the force’s commitment to professional development and excellence.
The newly promoted officers are:
Assistant Superintendent of Police: Inspector Mark Ellis
Inspector of Police: Station Sergeant Cuthbert Morris
Inspector of Police (Acting): Station Sergeant Kenny Jones
Station Sergeant of Police: Sergeant Carl Lewis
Station Sergeant of Police (Acting): Sergeant Decon Chewitt
Additionally, Commissioner of Police Envill Williams has approved the promotion of five officers between the ranks of Corporal and Sergeant.
Commissioner Williams congratulated the newly promoted officers, stating that their appointments reflect the RSVGPF’s commitment to recognizing hard work and fostering growth within the organization.
“While we celebrate these well-deserved promotions, I encourage all officers to remain diligent and dedicated. Not everyone can be promoted at the same time, but the continuation of hard work and professionalism will always be recognized,” he said.
The Commissioner also expressed appreciation for the entire RSVGPF team, acknowledging their efforts in maintaining law and order.
The RSVGPF reaffirmed its dedication to “enhancing law enforcement capabilities, upholding justice, and maintaining peace and security throughout the nation.”
