Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) wishes to
inform taxpayers that the deadline for filing Personal Income Tax returns has been extended to
Thursday 17th April 2025.
By law, the deadline for filing Personal Income Tax returns is 31 March annually and as a result,
taxpayers have had until 31 March to prepare and submit their Personal Income Tax returns.
However, with the very recent launch of the E-Tax platform, which now facilitates the online
filing of returns, the IRD ceased accepting paper submissions and required taxpayers to file
exclusively online.
Given that the platform was introduced later than anticipated, taxpayers now have a shorter
window to complete their filings. To ensure that all taxpayers have adequate time to complete the
transition to online filing and meet their tax obligations, the new deadline for filing Personal
Income Tax returns is now Thursday 17th April 2025.
For the avoidance of doubt, kindly note that this deadline ONLY extends to the filing of Personal
Income Tax Returns.
Taxpayers are encouraged to utilize the additional time to register and file their returns via the E-
Tax platform using the https://ird.gov.vc/ website. The IRD remains committed to assisting
taxpayers during this transition and encourages individuals to reach out for support if necessary.
