June 26, 2025 – Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines:
A 24-year-old man from Gibson Corner has pleaded guilty to charges related to the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
According to a release from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, Kyjuan Prince was arrested and charged on June 25, 2025, following investigations that revealed he was found in possession of one Glock pistol (serial number WHR 370) and eight rounds of .45 calibre ammunition. Neither the firearm nor the ammunition was licensed under the Firearm Act.
The offences were reportedly committed in the Rose Place/Battery Hill area on June 14, 2025.
Prince appeared before the Serious Offences Court on Thursday, June 26, where he pleaded guilty to both charges. He has been remanded in custody pending sentencing, which is scheduled for June 30, 2025.
