The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation (SVGBF), with support from the National Olympic Committee (SVGNOC), has announced the launch of its 2025 Youth Summer Basketball Camps, a free program aimed at empowering young athletes across the country.

Held under the inspiring theme #REBOUND, the initiative will provide boys and girls aged 7 to 16 with a chance to learn the fundamentals of basketball while also developing valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. The federation emphasizes that this initiative is more than just sport—it’s about shaping character and building community.

Three communities—New Montrose, Langley Park, and Petit Bordel—will host the week-long camps throughout July and August. All sessions will be led by qualified coaches and include guest speakers committed to creating a positive, fun, and educational atmosphere for participants.

The SVGBF is currently led by President Suzette Jackson, with a dedicated executive including 1st Vice President Winston Snagg, 2nd Vice President Ramon Johnson, 3rd Vice President Renitta Morris-Peters, General Secretary Givin Forde, and Treasurer Tevin H.S. Bynoe.
