August 11, 2025 – Kingstown: On August 7, 2025, police arrested and charged Jason Joel Small, a 35-year-old labourer of Golden Vale/Kingstown, with the offence of theft.
Investigations revealed that on August 2, 2025, Small stole nineteen (19) mature avocados valued at EC$152.00, the property of a 66-year-old carpenter of McKies Hill.
The offence was committed in McKies Hill. Small appeared before the Chateaubelair Magistrate’s Court, where he pleaded guilty to the charge. He was remanded into custody until August 12, 2025, for sentencing. The matter has been transferred to the Serious Offences Court.
