August 14, 2025 – Kingstown: On August 13, 2025, police arrested and charged Josiah Frederick, a 61-year-old Carpenter of Campden Park, with the offence of Wounding.
According to investigations, on May 14, 2025, the accused unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 45-year-old Labourer of the same address by striking him about his body with a cutlass.
The offence was committed in Campden Park. Frederick appeared before the Serious Offences Court on August 14, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to the charge. The conditions of his station bail continue and he was ordered not to have any contact with the virtual complainant. The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate Court for trial on September 10, 2025.
