The Basil Charles Foundation continues to invest in the future of St. Vincent and the Grenadines through its annual scholarship and bursary programme.
On Monday, August 18th, at Basil’s Bar in Villa, eleven (11) students received financial support from the Foundation. Seven (7) students were granted full-time scholarships valued at EC $1,500 each, while four (4) others were awarded bursaries to assist with their academic pursuits.
Founder, Basil Charles, encouraged the recipients to maximize the opportunities provided. He noted that students experiencing challenges in particular subject areas can access additional support once they communicate their needs.
The awards, granted on the basis of merit, recognize and reward students who have demonstrated exemplary academic performance.
