Ottley Hall Labourer Charged with Escaping Lawful Custody

On August 31, 2025, police arrested and charged Devon Boyde, a 32-year-old labourer of Ottley Hall, with Escaping Lawful Custody.

According to police investigations, Boyde, while being held at the Questelles Police Station on charges of Burglary and Breach of Court Order, allegedly escaped from custody on August 30, 2025.

He appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Monday, September 1, 2025, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. Bail was denied, and he was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.

The matter is scheduled for trial on November 19, 2025.
