Police officer Kyle Nimblet is in custody assisting his colleagues with investigations after he was accused of allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend, a Villa resident, 23 times.
Sources told ANN the attack occurred after the Villa resident ended the relationship over a month.
On Saturday afternoon, the Villa resident Raphia Sardine was dropped home by her coworkers. As she opened the door to enter her home, where she lives with her mother, she encountered her ex-boyfriend outside, dressed all in black and wearing gloves.
She attempted to close the door, but the officer reportedly broke the glass and attacked her while she was on the phone with her mother.
Her mother rushed home after hearing her daughter scream and found her covered in blood, with multiple stab wounds across her body, including her back, head, and face.
Earlier in the week, the officer had reportedly visited the mother’s workplace in Prospect twice—a behavior her mother said was unusual. The Villa resident also revealed that he had been stalking her since the relationship ended.

The officer later surrendered himself to the police in Calliaqua.
