KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – In anticipation of the upcoming general elections, European-based software engineer Janique-Ka John has unveiled an innovative interactive platform that makes decades of Vincentian electoral data more accessible.

The platform, titled Decision SVG (www.decisionsvg.com), compiles official election results dating back to 1994 through 2020. It allows users to explore a detailed breakdown of votes by constituency and political party, along with candidate names, vote counts, rejected ballots, voter turnout, and shifts in seat allocations.

Driven by her passion for data accessibility, Ms. John has long advocated for consolidating local information into user-friendly formats that support deeper analysis at the national, regional, and international levels.

She envisions Decision SVG becoming a widely used tool and plans to expand its capabilities to include real-time results tracking on election night, bringing a modern, data-driven approach to the local electoral process.

Ms. John is no stranger to civic engagement in elections. In 2020, she helped organize the widely viewed “Youth Night Coverage” of the general elections, streamed live on YouTube, which showcased her commitment to combining technology with public participation.
