The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, through the Ministry of Agriculture,
Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour, through the Eastern Caribbean Food Traders Limited will make $250,000 EC in payments to farmers who sold plantains to the Government.
The payments will take place from 10am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Vincy Fresh Ltd. in Diamond. This initiative forms part of the Government’s continued commitment to supporting local farmers and strengthening the agricultural sector.
Farmers eligible for payment are asked to bring a valid form of identification when collecting their funds. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour expresses its gratitude to all farmers for their continued partnership and contributions to the country’s agricultural development.
