Kingstown, October 6, 2025 – Police have arrested and charged six individuals in separate incidents across Kingstown, Sandy Bay, Greiggs, and Bequia for theft, wounding, trespassing, and other offences.

    Greiggs Labourer Charged with Theft: Josh Rodney, 19, of Greiggs, stole items valued at $36.37 ECC from Massy Stores Supermarket in Arnos Vale between September 30 and October 3, 2025. He pleaded guilty in Kingstown Magistrate Court and was remanded into custody. Sentencing is set for October 14, 2025.

    Kingstown Resident Charged with Theft: Joel Garrick, 50, stole three boxes of Dr. Chase Nerve Food Tablets worth $175.88 ECC from Coreas Hazell’s Inc. on September 9–10, 2025. He also pleaded guilty and was remanded, with sentencing on October 14, 2025.

    Mechanic Faces Multiple Charges: Raydony Laborde, 25, of Belair, was charged with grievous bodily harm, assaulting a police officer, damaging property, and resisting arrest after injuring a 63-year-old chauffeur and damaging his property. Laborde pleaded not guilty and was granted $4,000 ECC bail. His trial is set for June 16, 2026.

    Labourer Charged with Theft: Doderige Greaves, 54, of Sandy Bay, stole vegetables valued at $1,895.00 ECC from a Georgetown farmer on September 10, 2025. He pleaded not guilty and remains in custody. Trial is scheduled for October 20, 2025.

    Labourer Charged with Wounding: Raphael Lavia, 32, of Sandy Bay, allegedly chopped a 29-year-old labourer on the head and fingers with a cutlass on July 12, 2025. He was granted $2,000 ECC bail. Trial is set for November 10, 2025.

    Labourer Charged with Trespassing: Lerone Morgan, 50, of Lower Bay, Bequia, entered a resident’s porch with intent to annoy on September 18, 2025. He was granted $1,500 ECC bail and is expected in Bequia Magistrate Court on October 17, 2025.


    Police continue to investigate these cases and urge the public to report any suspicious activity.
