Kingstown, St. Vincent – October 14, 2025 – The 2025 Primary Schools Football Tournament kicked off in fine style on Tuesday, October 14th, with matches played across four venues on mainland St. Vincent.

    At the Richmond Hill Playing Field in Zone B, defending champions Kingstown Preparatory School began their title defense emphatically, thrashing St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School 10–0.
    Logan Gill produced a goal-scoring masterclass, netting an incredible eight goals, while Jomalo Payne and Mika’el Jackson added one apiece.

    In other Zone B results, Lowmans Leeward Anglican edged Lodge Village Government School 1–0, thanks to a goal from Daijon Hayde.
    Paget Farm Government blanked C.W. Prescod 2–0, with goals from Kemuel Bynoe and Jovani Miller.
    Meanwhile, Kingstown Anglican defeated Kingstown Government 2–1, with St. Augustus Lewis and Jemario Young scoring for the winners, and Nathan Ollivierre netting for Kingstown Gov.

    In Zone A action at the Campden Park Playing Field, Questelles Government School beat Fitz Hughes Government 2–1. Kai McKie scored for Fitz Hughes, while Questelles’ goals came from Omarion Ballantyne and an own goal by Fitz Hughes.
    Troumaca Government and Barrouallie Government played to a goalless draw.
    Clare Valley Government, Barrouallie Anglican, and Chateaubelair Methodist all won by default over Layou Government, Dubois Government, and Spring Village Methodist, respectively.

    At the Calliaqua Playing Field in Zone C, Belmont Government edged Fair Hall Government 2–1, with goals from Aaron Wyllie and Adam Phillips. Aleek Kydd scored for Fair Hall.
    Sion Hill Government and Sugar Mill Academy were awarded default wins over Lauders Primary and Gomea Methodist, respectively.

    Over in Zone D at Mt. Young, Pamelus Burke Government cruised past Biabou Methodist 3–0, courtesy of a brace from Jaydon Dabreo and one from Chloe Alvis.
    Former champions Owia Government secured a 2–1 win against Fancy Government, with Damallie Lavia scoring twice and Khan Lavia pulling one back for Fancy.
    Lowmans Windward Anglican dominated Langley Park Government 5–1, led by Josi’ah Theobalds’ double, while Malachi Hooper, Carlos James, and Keeroy Dalzell each added one.
    Diamonds Government lost by default to Georgetown Government.

    The tournament continues later this week with more matches expected to deliver thrilling performances from young footballers across the nation
