Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Candidate for South Central Windward, Israel Bruce, delivered a compelling message to the nation’s youth, outlining the key choices facing voters in the upcoming general election. Addressing young people at a village meeting in Lauders on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, Senator Bruce called for change and opportunity.
> “I want to say to the young people of South Central Windward, and by extension all those listening on social media — this election is about jobs,” said Bruce. “After Dr. Friday has made his Cabinet appointments, my first question will be: when do we kick in our promise to the people of South Central Windward for more jobs?”
Senator Bruce emphasized that under the current ULP administration, thousands of young Vincentians remain unemployed. He highlighted the NDP’s Youth Guarantee Pledge, which ensures that every young person in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will have access to a job, training, or an internship — creating pathways to employment and ending years of frustration and neglect.
> “Young people are demanding better, and we have a plan to deliver,” Bruce affirmed. “We will deliver for our youths.”
