Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – November 4, 2025:
    The Central Leeward Secondary School Warriors have reclaimed their status as the “Double Champions” of the NLA Inter Secondary Schools Road Relay, capturing both the Boys and Girls Division titles in impressive fashion.

    The highly anticipated event took place on Friday, November 1st, with schools from across the country competing for early bragging rights in the 2026 athletics season.

    In the Boys Division, the Warriors clocked an outstanding 53:06.90s to secure first place. The Georgetown Secondary School Gladiators followed closely in 53:39.20s, while the St. Martin’s Secondary School Saints rounded out the top three in 55:56.30s, edging out the St. Vincent Grammar School Lions.
    The remaining order of finishers was: Canouan Secondary, Troumaca Ontario Secondary, Dr. J.P. Eustace Memorial, Sandy Bay Secondary, Bethel High School, Thomas Saunders Secondary, Bequia Seventh-day Adventist, and Petit Bordel Secondary School.

    In the Girls Division, the Lady Warriors continued their dominant run, retaining the top spot with a winning time of 1:06:48.10s. The Girls’ High School placed second in 1:13:17.90s, followed by the Lady Gladiators of Georgetown Secondary in 1:14:34.40s.
    Completing the girls’ standings were Troumaca Ontario Secondary, Bethel High School, Thomas Saunders Secondary, Petit Bordel Secondary, and Dr. J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary.

    Points from the Road Relay, along with those earned from the earlier Cross Country event, will contribute to the overall totals for the 2026 NLA Inter Secondary Schools Athletics Championships, scheduled for March.
