The accused allegedly wounded a 16-year-old female of Choppins by stabbing her about her body with a knife on 27.01.19 at Cane End, Mesopotamia. The accused woman is expected to appear before the Magistrate Court to answer the charge.
Police arrested and charged Andy Baptiste, 31 years old Labourer of Walvaroo with Theft on 02.02.19. The accused Baptiste stole a Subscriber Identity Module (sim) valued fifteen dollars (EC$15.00) and fourteen thousand, four hundred and fifty-nine dollars (EC$14,459.00) in cellular phone credit between 2016 and 2017 at Walvaroo. The property of Digicel SVG. Baptiste is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.

For the first time in 40 years a set of Amazona guildingii parrots will be return to its native country. Government has announced its intention to increase taxes on gasoline and diesel in light of what it says are efforts to meet demands for road maintenance and rehabilitation, health care and environmental protection. It was noted that despite efforts and creative initiatives, farmers and fisherfolk continue to be affected by praedial larceny. “Too many hardworking farmers continue to lose their cops and livestock to thieves.
