ST. JOHN’S ANTIGUA, November 25, 2020 – LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, will begin its commercial schedule on November 30th with flights operating to a limited number of destinations. The airline will operate flights five days a week to seven destinations across the LIAT network. The seven destinations are: Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Vincent. The limited schedule of flights will return connectivity to these destinations which were impacted by the airline’s suspension of commercial services. Lieutenant William Theobalds of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard has achieved a new milestone becoming the first Vincentian to complete the International Maritime Operators Course at the United States Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. Lieutenant Theobalds, who graduated on November 6th, 2020, said he is elated about his achievement and looks forwards to achieving greater things. Jamaica observer – Ricardo Lewin, an immigration officer of Bogue Village in Montego Bay, is now in hospital battling for his life after he was shot during a hit and run incident at approximately 6:10pm on Monday.
