The annual Christmas Road Cleaning Programme conducted by the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) is scheduled to commence on Friday December 4, 2020. The 7-day programme will see the employment of 5,405 persons. These will include 450 gangs, and 905 Jobbers. In addition, over 100 Truckers will be employed. The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has made a decision to cancel the $11 million debt owed to the Federation by LIAT, the Caribbean Airline. Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris, said that the debt relief was made following a request by the liquidator.
