A BARBER who reported to police that he was kidnapped and robbed has been fined for wasteful employment of the police by making a false report. Trevon Lemessy, 25 of Moruga, was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine. Should he fail to pay the money in a month, he will serve four months hard labour. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Devonnie Belgreaves, 19 years, unemployed of Rose Place that occurred about 9:06pm on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at Rose Place, Kingstown. According to investigations, members of the Major Crime Unit (MCU) were informed of a shooting incident in Rose Place. On arrival at the scene, Belgreaves lifeless body was met with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
