2020 bringing the new total number of active cases currently in country to 115. At
present, all of the active cases are stable and doing well.

The Ministry of Health recognizes the efforts of a wide cross section of our population in
improving adherence to the infection prevention and control guidelines.

There has been a notable improvement in adherence to protocols in public places.

As we move into the Christmas season it is important that we sustain and strengthen the efforts to minimize any potential exposure to the virus.

Ensure that there is the daily habit of:

    – Washing and sanitizing hands often during the day
    – Wearing a mask while in public and ensure it covers both the mouth and nose
    – Maintaining the recommended six foot physical distance which is about two arm’s
    length apart
    – Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces often using a bleach solution
    – Avoiding contact with other people who have flu-like symptoms
    – If experiencing flu-like symptoms, keep away from others and seek medical care
immediately at the closest community respiratory clinic.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness will continue providing updates as new information
    becomes available.
