Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Moralis Delano Stanley, 45 years old Labourer of Chauncey. According to investigations, Stanley’s motionless body was discovered in a pool of blood about 7:00am on 26.05.2020 by his mother who subsequently informed the police. The District Medical Officer (DMO) was summoned to the scene and pronounced the body dead. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out on the body to ascertain the cause of death. Police have arrested and jointly charged Bastian Dember, 29 years old fisherman of Union Island and Andris Jordan, 30 years old fisherman of Fitz Hughes with the offences of possession of a control drug and drug trafficking respectively on 23.05.2020. According to investigations, the accused men had in their possession 18, 160 grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another and for the purpose of drug trafficking. The incident occurred at Bequia on 22.05.2020. Both men are expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.

Police are investigating a shooting in Arnos Vale, West st George. Dead is Denisha Corridon, alias ‘Gaza Den and her boyfriend Lionel “Gobler” George. A reliable source told ANN that both Corridon and George were liming when a vehicle drove up to them and two persons exited the said vehicle and opened fire on them.
