Good morning SVG! We’re beginning the new week under cloudy skies with a touch of haze and a few light showers moving across parts of the islands. Weak unstable conditions continue to influence our weather today, bringing a mix of clouds, sunshine and occasional showers as we move through the morning and afternoon.

At 6:00 a.m., conditions at Argyle International Airport were reported as cloudy and slightly hazy with light showers. Temperatures were sitting at a comfortable 27.0°C, while northeast winds were blowing at approximately 20 km/h. Although conditions remain generally favourable, residents should be prepared for a few scattered showers throughout the day.

Forecasters say weak unstable conditions will keep skies cloudy and breezy at times. While no major weather systems are expected to affect the country, brief showers could develop periodically across both St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

There are currently no weather advisories or warnings in effect. However, marine interests should note that seas remain slight to moderate with swells ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 metres. Small-craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution due to above-normal swells and occasional gusty winds.

Across the region this morning, Trinidad and New York are reporting cloudy conditions, Barbados remains cloudy and breezy with light showers, Antigua and San Juan are fair, Miami is partly cloudy, Toronto is fair and London is enjoying clear skies.

Today’s only listed high tide is expected at 5:32 p.m.. Sunrise occurred at 5:38 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:32 p.m..

That’s your ANN Friendly Weatherman update for this Monday. Keep an umbrella nearby for passing showers, stay alert if you’re heading out on the water, and have a safe and productive day across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
